“I make music, songs, and sounds”

Singer-Songwriter (Alec Rose)
Film Score
Commercial Reel

I had the honor of working on this feature-length horror film as sound designer and sound mixer. There’s a little bit of score I weaved into the sound design as well in this particular scene. I mixed the film in 5.1 surround and stereo for streaming.

Sounds you can see:

I had the honor & pleasure of creating the score and sound design for this incredible art film by biennale award winning artist Lara Salmon.

I had the pleasure of making this tune with a friend and colleague for a series of ads for the vacation rental company AvantStay.

An excerpt from the short film “Better off Dead in Tinseltown” which I had the pleasure of scoring.

A clip from the feature film “Grandpa’s Crazy” which I had the honor of working on as a composer.

I make music for artists, films, and visual media, by finding and utilizing the only instrument we have as humans and artists that is truly unique: our voice.

Sometimes I use it prominently (as in my releases under my abbreviated singer-songwriter/artist name: Alec Rose).

Other times I use it subtly, camouflaged as an almost-familiar instrument to amplify the voices of the filmmakers, artists and brands I work with.

And sometimes I’ll just use it metaphorically and stylistically because, as artists, our voice and our perspective is all we have.

Let’s make something cool and find our collaborative voice together.
